Last night I saw the most beautiful woman standing...
The speech we were listening to ended in a joke. Laughter filled the air. Our eyes met. We gazed at each other, longingly, from across the room as the laughter died. We shared a secret smile in a room full of strangers.
And then she disappeared into the night before I even had a chance to say hi.
Her beauty was worth more than a thousand notes.
